These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.

Are you interested in permanently replacing your missing teeth? If so, Dr. Wolff does offer dental implants. A dental implant is a surgical fixture that is placed into the jawbone and allowed to fuse with the bone over the span of a few months. The dental implant acts as a replacement for the root of a missing tooth. In turn, this “artificial tooth root” serves to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Having a dental implant fused to the jawbone is the closest thing to mimicking a natural tooth because it stands on its own without affecting the nearby teeth and has great stability. The process of fusion between the dental implant and jawbone is called “osseointegration.” Most dental implants are made of titanium, which allows them to integrate with bone without being recognized as a foreign object in our body.

Dr. Wolff offers traditional tooth extractions and wisdom tooth extractions to give you the best chance for a strong and successful oral health. A tooth extraction is generally needed when there is no other way to restore the health of your tooth. A dental extraction (also referred to as tooth extraction, exodontia, exodontics, or informally, tooth pulling) is the removal of teeth from the dental alveolus (socket) in the alveolar bone. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, but most commonly to remove teeth which have become unrestorable through tooth decay, periodontal disease or dental trauma, especially when they are associated with toothache. Sometimes wisdom teeth are impacted (stuck and unable to grow normally into the mouth) and may cause recurrent infections of the gum (pericoronitis). In orthodontics if the teeth are crowded, sound teeth may be extracted (often bicuspids) to create space so the rest of the teeth can be straightened.

Digital x-rays are accurate and efficient devices that take detailed images of your teeth, roots, and jaw. Dr. Wolff is proud to utilize this technology to give you the safest and best dental experience possible. With this equipment, our dentist is able to completely examine your oral cavity, diagnose any problems, and treat those problems at the early stages of development.

The E4D Crown machine allows our office to scan, design, and mill a beautiful custom restoration right in our office. Once Dr. Wolff determines that you need a crown restoration placed, your mouth will be digitally scanned and this data will be sent to the in-office milling machine. The milling machine uses the information to create a custom, beautiful crown that is made exactly to your specifications and in a very short period of time.

Dr. Wolff does perform laser dentistry in our office. Laser dentistry can be a precise and effective way to perform many dental procedures.

  • Procedures performed using soft tissue dental lasers may not require sutures (stitches).
  • Certain procedures do not require anesthesia.
  • Minimizes bleeding because the high-energy light beam aids in the clotting (coagulation) of exposed blood vessels, thus inhibiting blood loss.
  • Bacterial infections are minimized because the high-energy beam sterilizes the area being worked on.
  • Damage to surrounding tissue is minimized.
  • Wounds heal faster and tissues can be regenerated.
