Dental Implants

Missing a tooth or teeth doesn’t mean that your only options are dentures or bridges. We offer a third option to help you reclaim your smile.

Dental implants are a popular and effective surgical fixture that acts as a replacement for the root of a missing tooth. Having a titanium dental implant fused to the jawbone is the closest thing to mimicking a natural tooth because it stands on its own without affecting the nearby teeth and has great stability.

There are three phases to receiving an implant here at Wolff Dentistry in Queen Creek, AZ:

  • First: The oral surgeon will surgically place the implant(s) into the jawbone.
  • Second: Osseointegration takes place. Osseointegration means “combines with the bone,” and is what makes an implant so strong. This process takes time, so most patients need to wait several months for the implant to completely fuse to the bone before a replacement tooth can be attached.
  • Third: The artificial tooth/teeth are placed. For a single tooth implant, your dentist will attach a dental crown, customized according to the size, shape, color, and fit of your original tooth so that it blends perfectly. If we have to replace more than a single tooth, we will custom-make bridges or dentures to fit your mouth and your implants.
With dental implants, you’ll never miss an opportunity to shine your brilliant smile again!
