Root Canal Treatment

If you are experiencing pain while chewing and/or a severe toothache, a root canal may be the solution to save your tooth!

In the past, a diseased tooth would have been lost, but today, at Wolff Dentistry, a root canal treatment is used to save that tooth. The procedure is relatively simple and involves less than three visits to our office.

If you experience the following signs, you may need root canal therapy:

  • Severe toothache
  • Pain when chewing or when pressure is applied
  • Prolonged sensitivity to temperatures
  • A dark discoloration of the tooth
  • Swelling and tenderness surrounding the gums.
If you require a root canal therapy, a dentist at Wolff Dentistry will remove the infected tissue. After that, the inside of the tooth will be cleaned, sealed, and filled with dental composite. If your tooth has extensive decay, your doctor will recommend placing a crown on the tooth to protect it from breakage. It will last a lifetime with healthy cleaning and care habits!
Keep your smile strong, healthy, and pain-free with the help from our team here at Wolff Dentistry.
